Abstract:
The spirit of Chardikalaa – eternal optimism- is intrinsically linked with Naam the basic tenet of Sikhi. It fosters a sense of well- being, contentment and gratitude that allows us to live joyfully under all circumstances. Jessi Kaur will facilitate a discussion during which participants will share personal stories of facing life with Chardikala.
The format of the Vichar session this month will be of active sharing. Please come to inspire the group with your experiences of applying Chardikalaa to real life situations.
As Always, We Look For Active Participation By The Sangat In An Environment That Encourages Interactive Discussion.

Humbly speaking, at a young age I was attracted by the following two promises in Gurbani, which infused some degree of Chardi Kalaa in me:-
1. “birtha kohe na jahe je avai tudh aai” (no one who comes to you is disappointed – my interpretation?),
2. “toon mera rakha sabni thaein, ta bhu keha kara jio”. (you are my saviour everywhere!) .
