About Professor Asma Qadri:
Prof. Qadri is Associate Professor at Punjabi Department, Punjab University Lahore, Pakistan. She has done Post-doctoral research at University of California, Santa Barbara. She has published five books including three volumes on Punjabi Classical Poetry. She has published 47 Research Papers and has won many awards.
Dr. Qadri spoke well in pure punjabi. But her talk hardly touched the advertised topics.

It was truly a pleasure to listen and learn from Dr. Quadri Ji, as she so simply explained and clearly articulated some of the very basic principles related to 5 elements that forms the baseline for all existence. This was followed up by exploring the first few lines of “First Pauri” of Japji Sahib Ji. Each and every word was being explored to great depth and the more she explained, the more wisdom was being reveled to her, which she was sharing with the Sadh Sangat.
With God’s grace, those people who are trying to travel on spiritual journey, they do not see any borders between any teachings, as long as the teachings are “Pure” and coming from the creator and/or his true Guru’s/teachers/guides and not man-made notion/comments. When any individual begs God for his mercy to get the company of evolved soul’s, then God removes many souls from their path and add new/more evolved souls in their path, so they can continue to learn and connect to higher levels, leading to his home. The teaching tells us that no amount of learning/teachings will take us home except God’s “Blessings”.
We hope that Dr. Quadri will keep coming back to US and visit San Jose Gurdwara and other places that would like to host her in US or anywhere in the world, so she can help get the message out and connect souls with the creator – all under God’s own will.
Firstly I feel honored to share my feelings of divine bliss while being deeply absorbed in listening to the beautiful communication full of divine love by Rev. Dr Quadri Ji & desire to congratulate her . I have learnt a great deal as how to share/convey our knowledge for the benefit of Sat Sangat who have a true urge to seek the knowledge of NAAM. Since it is not a philosophy but a real life living way of life which alone will create the impact on listeners belonging to any religion.
I observe the point of SKY element of the body or AKASH as per question put up by the member of this gathering & again explained by Gurmukh Piarey present by quoting of Gurbani about the state of a Brahmgiani ………..very nice point !!!!
I wish to share as information based on real life experience & confirmed by Gurbani of Anand Sahib ( No ego boosting nor creating any kind of disturbance to anyone’s thought process please).
MIND is the child of electron size SOUL Soul lives in anatomical heart. Journey of this soul from anatomical heart in love of Baba NANAK (Attraction power of Charan Kamal). GURU is seated in Sukhaasan position over the line of eye brows. Guru blesses the soul to penetrate the mind & mind comes in bliss state . This is total knowledge available to all existing religions of our planet .
GURBANI confirms , ” Gurudwarey laayyee bhawni ikna daswaan dwaar dijhhayyaa…………….”
Result is , ” Mann tuun Jyot saroop hain aapna mool pahhan ………….”
Charging power of the soul to get the grace of Guru requires us to fall in love of truth .
i.e. First step is to enjoy Amrit Vela wef 0400 hrs to 0700 hrs in doing JAPJI SAHIB
five times & followed by listening to Keertan of Aasa di var . This is the basic routine
to be followed for a minimum of 18 days & make a head start in life of blissful nature.
JAPJI SAHIB is purely describing the glory of NAAM . It confirms about state of mind i.e.
” Mann jeetey jag jeet………………..”
Recitation of Japji Sahib is very important part of beginning of meditation during ambrosial hours..
From this blessed state , one needs to progress under constant trials of love of truth (GURU)
& pass through the journey to spiritual heart ( KINGDOM of GOD) . It is here that our prayer is
granted by GURU since it is rarest of the rare gift i.e. NAAM DAAN.
What is the physical state of heart,mind & body during enjoying Naam Daan ?
(i) Heart beat reduces to ONE per hour since heart is full of PRAKASH since the electron size
now glows to over 1000 watts level .
(ii) Mind gets merged with soul .
(iii) 70 Million hair pore vibrate to speak the word , ” WAHEGURU”
During our life time if we are blessed by Guru even for one PAHAR (3 Hours) , one becomes NIRMAL
i.e. EGO-LESS.
The elephant size EGO of bliss of EGO does not allow the soul to penetrate the MIND .
