First hour: Sardarni Leena Kaur will speak on “Haumai”.
We will look at the concept of Haumai in Gurbani. The basic need is to first familiarize oneself with one’s Haumai (often translated as Ego) and then work on getting rid of it to attain realization, as Haumai is the only blocking factor for Grace to occur and to be seen in one’s life. In the light of Gurbani, how can we get rid of Haumai?
Second hour: Sardarni Jessi Kaur will continue with the sequential study and group discussion of the Japji Sahib. This session we will continue with pauri no. 32 – “Ikdoo jeebhau lakh hoe”

Huamai is truly self-conceit. It is the denial of the higher self, the Waheguru in us, at the expense of the misguided lower self. What is needed is the proper coordination between our higher and lower selves. Thanks.
One important question to explore in this Vichar are the techniques to reduce “hauame” in oneself.
